How the tennis tip of the day is selected

The banker criteria return 2 on today's board. Over the past 90 days the same filter has produced a strike rate of 78%, measured across a settled sample of 812.

Two thresholds define a banker. The model's confidence in its own best tip must reach 90 on a 0–100 scale, and the decimal odds attached to that tip must be 1.05 or higher. The first threshold controls quality. The second removes prices too short to be actionable. Applied across a full day of ATP, WTA, Challenger and ITF fixtures, the pair typically qualifies fewer than a dozen matches from several hundred, and on thin days none at all.

How to read the trust score

Trust is reported on a 0–100 scale and displayed on each row out of ten, so 9.4 corresponds to 94. It is a property of the individual selection, not a rating of the player. The same player can produce a 9.5 on a fast indoor hard court and a 5.8 the following week on clay, where the model weights the opponent's return game far higher.

Settled selections remain published. A losing banker keeps its position with the result recorded against it, and the date navigation covers three days either side of the current one. The record shown is complete rather than filtered.
